EICTV and Televisión Serrana announce the Multiplatform Documentary Creation and Production Residency from October 5 to November 25, 2024. This 7-week residency takes place in Cuba, combining training at EICTV and community work in Sierra Maestra. It targets audiovisual creators interested in creative documentaries, community narratives, and ethical production. The program offers theoretical and practical training, mentored by Rodrigo Vázquez Salessi and the Televisión Serrana team. Participants will produce microdocumentaries and learn to film in conflict zones. Spanish proficiency, audiovisual experience, own equipment, and Cuban health insurance are required. The fee is €4,500, covering lodging, meals, transport, and full support. The call closes on July 1, 2024, with a limited intake of 10 international participants. This residency blends creativity, ethics, and community to tell impactful real stories.

Multiplatform Documentary Creation and Production Residency – EICTV
In 2025, the Bogotá Audiovisual Market - BAM aims to establish itself as a key platform for the industry, focusing on the development and financing of premium serialized fiction and documentary content. Through strategies such as co-production, IP sales, and other business models, BAM invites national production companies with series projects in development to participate in this category. Selected participants will gain access to a preparation program and a one-on-one meeting agenda, designed to expand their business opportunities and facilitate the realization of their content.

The 3rd Call for the WomanInFan Fantastic Residency – Sitges FanLab 2025 is open to female filmmakers residing in Europe who are developing a fantasy fiction feature film. The residency will take place during the Sitges Film Festival (October 9–19, 2025) and includes accommodation, meals, travel, full access to Industry events, mentoring, and specialized training. Applicants must submit a project in development along with a script, video pitch, project dossier, motivation letter, CV, and either a previous fantasy short film or a professional reel. The standard submission deadline is May 31 (€50), with an extended deadline until June 30 (€60). The initiative aims to support female voices in European fantastic cinema by offering professional guidance and international exposure. The selected project will be announced on September 9, 2025. Applications can be submitted via Festhome, FilmFreeway, or Incoproduction.

WomanInFan Residency - SITGES
Sitges FanPitch 2025 is an international pitching competition for feature films and series in horror, science fiction, and fantasy genres. The call is open from March 10 to June 30, 2025, with a registration fee of €50 until May 31 and €60 until June 30. Projects must submit a script, English dossier, a maximum 3-minute videopitch, poster, and signed commitment documents. Special consideration is given to projects in Catalan. Winners will receive prizes including travel grants for international festivals, residencies, and cash awards for series. Selected series projects can participate in the Showrunners LAB with individual mentoring. The event will take place on October 12-13, 2025, in a hybrid format, within the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival.

FanPitch - SITGES
The Audiovisual Laboratory: Industry in Focus call is aimed at creative duos (director and producer) who identify as women, trans, or non-binary in Argentina. They seek feature film or series projects in development, either fiction or documentary. Projects must be original and have one or two previous works premiered or exhibited.
Applications are open until July 31, 2025. Eight projects will be selected to participate in virtual mentoring from August to October. The process concludes with a final pitch event in Buenos Aires, with travel and accommodation covered for those outside the AMBA area.
The two winning projects will receive financial support of 10 million Argentine pesos to advance their development. The call aims to promote diversity, inclusion, and professionalization in Argentina’s audiovisual industry, fostering gender equity and new voices.
