The FeatureLab 2026 call by TorinoFilmLab is a training programme for feature film projects at an advanced development stage, designed for teams of directors and producers worldwide. The deadline for applications is 2 December 2025 at 16:00 CET. The programme takes place in Italy (Turin) and online from June to November 2026, with two residential modules and one online module. It is an international call open to applicants from any country. It accepts first or second feature film projects in genres including fiction, creative documentary, experimental, and animation, as long as the project exceeds 60 minutes and is in advanced development. This is a development and training lab, focusing on artistic, creative, production, and promotion strategies, rather than a market event. The format accepted is feature films; short films and series are not eligible. Selected teams participate in workshops and conclude with presentations at the TFL Meeting Event, with opportunities to compete for production awards. Participation requires submission of materials in English and full availability for all scheduled activities.

The Oxbelly Retreat 2026 is an international creative development program taking place from July 1 to July 9, 2026 in Greece (Costa Navarino, Messinia). Applications open on December 2, 2025 and close on January 14, 2026. It welcomes applicants from around the world and does not restrict participation by nationality.
Oxbelly is not a traditional competition but an immersive retreat/workshop focused on writing. It accepts projects in development rather than finished works, specifically targeting feature film screenplays and fiction writing (novels, short stories, or other narrative forms). It is not structured around pitches, markets, or completed projects, but rather around creative and professional growth. This program is ideal for screenwriters and fiction writers seeking dedicated time, feedback, and a supportive international community to advance their narrative projects.
