The IbizaCineFest 2026 Screenplay Competition is open to original short film scripts, written in Spanish or English, with a maximum length of 15 pages, excluding cover and synopsis. Scripts of any genre are accepted, provided they follow professional cinematic formatting; graphic or technical scripts are not allowed.
Submissions are open until January 20, 2026, with early, standard, late, and extended deadlines. The competition is international, welcoming authors of all nationalities. Scripts must be submitted in PDF format, including title, author contact information, and a synopsis of up to 15 lines.
The festival will take place from February 20 to March 1, 2026, in Ibiza, Spain. From all submissions, five finalists will be selected to present a pitch of up to five minutes. The jury will choose the winner and may grant up to two special mentions.
The main prize consists of €1,000 in production support for the short film and participation in the next edition of the festival. All finalists will receive a fee waiver when submitting their completed short film.

Script Competition - IBIZACINEFEST
The Co-Pro Pitching Sessions 2026 are part of the Series Mania Forum and are aimed at live-action fiction series projects in development seeking international co-production and financing. The main activities will be held from March 24 to March 26, 2026, including pitching sessions and one-to-one meetings with industry professionals. SERIES MANIA FORUM
Histeria Lab is a workshop dedicated to the development of film projects in the genres of horror, fantasy, and science fiction. It is part of the Histeria International Fantastic Film Festival, held in San José, Costa Rica. Its goal is to provide filmmakers with tools and guidance to enhance their projects and facilitate their entry into the market. Ventana Sur Guiones is a program aimed at emerging Latin American screenwriters developing original feature-length fiction projects. The program will take place from December 1 to 5, 2025, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The call exclusively accepts feature-length fiction projects and does not consider short films, series, or fully produced works.
The program aims to support the professional growth of emerging Latin American screenwriters, offering a space for learning, visibility, and networking within the international audiovisual industry. Screenplays – VENTANA SUR
ComedyLab 2026 is a comedy project development lab organized by TorinoFilmLab in Italy. It is open to screenwriters and comedians worldwide, aiming to develop feature-length comedy projects through in-person and online workshops. All project materials must be submitted in English, which is also the working language of the workshops and activities.
The program runs from March to November 2026 and includes multiple sessions: a preliminary workshop in Turin at the end of February, workshops in Belgium and Poland in April and June, online sessions in September and October, and a final project presentation in Turin in November.
Applications are open internationally until December 12, 2025, and focus exclusively on feature-length comedy projects. Participants without a project can also join to collaborate on selected projects.
