The Ibermedia Program 2026 opens its call for the co-development of Ibero-American series projects. The ALGA Ibero-American Residency 2026 is an in-person training opportunity for filmmakers and audiovisual professionals with feature film and series projects in development. Applications are open until January 31, 2026 and the program is open to international applicants from Ibero-America, Spain, and Portugal, with no genre or theme restrictions. The Work in Progress section of the Huesca International Film Festival invites short films from Ibero-American countries that are in an advanced stage of post-production. Projects should be between 5 and 20 minutes long and must not have been commercially released or screened at other festivals. Short films of all genres are accepted, including fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, fantasy, or horror.

Applications opened on January 14, 2026, and will close on February 12, 2026.
